Answers to Common Questions.

Everything we're most often asked before, during and after a project.

Working With Us

What size of business do you typically work with?

Most of our clients are small to mid-sized businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets or off-the-shelf tools but aren't large enough to run an in-house engineering team.

Do you work with businesses outside our current industries list?

Yes — the industries we list are where we have the most direct experience, but the underlying problems (workflow automation, custom portals, system integration) show up across most industries.

Can you take over a project another agency or developer started?

Yes, though we start with a short assessment of the existing codebase before committing to a timeline, since the state of what's already built varies a lot.

Process & Delivery

What does your typical project process look like?

Discovery to understand the problem, a design and technical approach phase, iterative engineering with regular check-ins, then launch with a support period afterward. See our How We Work section for more detail.

How involved do we need to be during the project?

More involved during discovery and at key review points, less involved during focused build phases. We keep check-ins regular but try not to require your team's constant attention.

What happens after launch?

We include a support period after launch to handle issues that only surface under real usage, and can continue under an ongoing support arrangement afterward.

Pricing & Contracts

How is a project typically priced?

Most projects are scoped and quoted after discovery, once we understand what's actually being built. We avoid quoting a price before that conversation happens.

Do you offer fixed-price or time-and-materials contracts?

Both, depending on how well-defined the scope is. Well-defined projects are often fixed-price; ongoing or evolving work is usually time-and-materials.

Support

Do you offer ongoing maintenance after a project ends?

Yes, under an ongoing support arrangement — most clients continue with us in some capacity after the initial launch.

What if something breaks after launch?

Issues raised during the post-launch support period are addressed as part of the engagement. Beyond that period, ongoing support arrangements cover this.
